Get Messy.

Summertime means going barefoot and digging in the garden. (Or, if you're like me, encouraging loved ones to dig in the garden for you.) It means jumping in the lake and forgetting about my hairdo. I find this time of year ideal for new writing projects--for getting my hands dirty and starting the dreaded first draft.

I invite you to let it all hang out this month (on the page or elsewhere). If you need a gentle nudge, I'll continue to facilitate weekly classes in the Berkshires in August and September. Sessions will begin with painless writing exercises followed by (optional) time to share your good words.
