Welcome to fall, the season of new beginnings. I recently blogged about the dreaded WB (writer's block) and wanted to share it with you. In this instance, Julia Cameron helped me out. If you find you have the desire to write but the writing itself is hard to come by, I suggest giving this a skim: Finding Creativity When It Feels Like You Have None.

As promised, here's a writing exercise in honor of the season: When did you last take a fall? Or find yourself falling? Interpret this any way you like-- just describe the experience in as much detail as possible. Keep your pen on the page (or fingers on the keys) and don't cross anything out. Give yourself 10 minutes and GO. (If 10 minutes turns into 20, so be it.)
