I took this photo last fall on the peaceful grounds Genesis Center in Westfield, MA. It's the kind of place where stories come to me. I let them. There are roaming chickens and quiet cubbies (like this foliage bench, above). I eat well and enjoy good writerly company. For these reasons, I look forward to hosting another weekend writing retreat at Genesis (September 23-25). Please see below for more information.
I'll also lead a private, day-long writing retreat in the cozy home of a writer who lives nearby. It's like a house concert with pens: friends invited to gather for a day of reflection and prose. If you're interested in hosting a similar event for people who love words, please reply to this email.
