Resolving Out Loud
As we enter the last month of 2018, I can't help it--I begin to consider "resolutions" for the coming year. I prefer to call them intentions, a kinder, gentler word. In this article for Kripalu Resources, Resolving Out Loud, I write about compassion and gratitude (versus willpower), and how these social emotions can help us maintain our wishes for the future. Journaling can help us sustain our intentions as well. I'll present a 60-minute workshop at Kripalu Center again on New Year's Eve ("Journaling for the New Year") for registered guests. It's my favorite place to ring in the new. My least favorite place is on the ski slopes. (See my article for that scary story.)
