Groundhog Day

I'm always a little confused by this day. The groundhog sees his shadow (or doesn't). Is that good or bad? Long winter or early spring? Is a groundhog the same as a woodchuck? 

If you've seen "Groundhog Day," the movie  with Bill Murray, you know that he's forced to repeat the same day, again and again. Which brings me to the writing prompt. 

FEBRUARY WRITING EXERCISE: If you could choose one day to repeat from your life, which day would it be? Why? Describe this day in as much detail as possible. Freewrite for 10 minutes without self-judgment. Be messy and honest. Don't cross anything out. Then read your words out loud to yourself. Or to a trusted someone.
