Spring is here.
I commit to spring cleaning every April. Or I intend to commit. I encourage others to do it and hope I follow suit. I like the idea of less stuff and then I realize how attached I am to things. Books, mostly. But also mementos.
APRIL PROMPT: Think of an object that holds special value for you and describe it in as much detail as possible. What is the story of this thing? Why is it special to you? Would you ever give this object away?
As always, allow yourself to be messy and honest. Try to keep writing for 10 minutes. If it feels right to share this with a trusted someone, do that. Or not. Then thank yourself for taking time to write it down.
