I wish I could draw. I mean draw well. I have the urge and the ideas, but the execution is, well…lacking.
I once played Pictionary with friends who were baffled. “That’s a cow?” I’d tried. It looked like a cookie. We couldn’t stop laughing, so the game wasn’t a total bust. But even without time constraints and peer pressure I seem unable to make my hand do what my brain envisions.
Writing can be like that too, of course, but the words, or letters making up the words, are preconceived. Like buying the gingerbread kit as opposed to making it all from scratch.
